POKOTABI / Yakiniku Meido
焼肉明洞
Just down from Meguro Station, Yakiniku Meido pairs familiar yakiniku cuts like kalbi and loin with warming Korean staples, from stone-pot bibimbap to samgyetang.
01 / ABOUT THE PLACE
Located on the 2rd floor of a building down Gonnosukezaka from Meguro Station, Yakiniku Meido brings together reliable yakiniku and unpretentious Korean classics. The meat selections cover beef kalbi, loin, and prime bone-in ribs alongside pork bone-in kalbi, chicken gizzard, and wings, with seasonings adaptable to personal preference through salt-grill requests or adjusted spice levels.
Beyond the grill, the comforting rice and soup dishes form an essential part of the menu. Sizzling stone-pot bibimbap, gently simmered samgyetang chicken soup, deep ox tail gomtang, and rich kalbi gukbap warm the table thoroughly. For noodles, Korean spicy ramyeon and hand-cut kalguksu are on offer, accompanied by a la carte dishes like stir-fried octopus and japchae for sharing.
Equally handy for an unfussy lunch or an evening meal over draft beer and ginseng liquor, the space caters smoothly to course banquets and small gatherings. The relaxed setting and home-style hospitality make it an easy choice when looking for hearty Korean dining in the neighborhood.
